Nearly 40 years’ experience
Based in Lyon, part of the Auvergne-Rhône Alpes region, in a dynamic, internationally-focussed, student city, home to the headquarters of many NGOs and charitable organisations, the training centre is accessible by public transport in just 40 minutes from Lyon Part-Dieu train station.

Technical training sites
The two technical training sites, supplied with the equipment used on humanitarian projects: 4x4 vehicles, pumps, generators, telecommunications, etc. are where our students on diploma courses put their skills into practice during full-scale humanitarian simulation exercises.
Opportunities to meet
So that you can discover more about Bioforce, its courses and specific features, we organise open days throughout the year. See you soon on site!
NGOs here to meet you
Over 30 humanitarian organisations spend three days every year getting to know you better, giving you the chance to find out more about your future profession.
A Resource centre
Open all year round to students, and by appointment for non-students, it holds a specialist humanitarian collection as well as over 2,000 humanitarian assignment reports by our students.
Conferences
At each conference, a fascinating speaker, whether a humanitarian back from the field, a head of an NGO, a key figure or a journalist, invites us to reflect on the issues and challenges of the humanitarian world. Organised by the students, these open-access conferences are free of charge and take place once a month.
