What still guides me today from my year at Bioforce is the desire to do, this orientation towards action. At Bioforce, theory is less important than practice, the commitment and kindness of the trainers and students, the camaraderie, the respect, the diversity of people, many of whom already had professional experience. You’re in the midst of people who have already experienced life, and that’s very powerful. I remain deeply attached to Bioforce and I never hesitate to advise it.

I have a memory of intensity, in the work, in the relationships with other students, many projects in common, in the field simulation exercises, in community work… The memory of having worked a lot and having lived a lot. A moment of successful intensity, six months that changed me, because 12 years later it is still my job. It’s a key founding moment.

It was a dream for me to be trained by Bioforce, and the course at my own pace enabled me to make that dream come true and to get a quality teaching that makes a difference in the field. Today I am logistics coordinator at the NGO Terre des Hommes Lausanne. My Bioforce course clearly made the difference in getting this position, which until then had always been held by an expatriate.

Bioforce’s participation, for the first time this year, has greatly contributed to the success of this course. The facilitation of a whole afternoon devoted to the presentation of methodological tools for the management and assessment of humanitarian projects was particularly appreciated by our participants, who benefited greatly from it at their respective levels of competence and experience in the field.
